Peter's media career began at the age of 13 when he became a paper-boy for the Manchester Evening News. After getting his mountain bike stolen during his round, he had the dubious honour of being featured as a crime victim in the same newspaper. His obsession with ink had begun. A short stint as a journalist at the Big Issue magazine and a spell working in the PR department at Sunderland AFC led him to land a job as an in-house press officer at Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) where he promoted public transport in the region. Peter joined RMS in 2001 and is now in charge of a number of professional services, business-to-business, property, public sector and financial PR accounts. Peter is also a semi-professional soccer referee and takes charge of matches in the North Conference, Unibond, Premier League Reserves and Football League Reserves. He is confident of becoming a FIFA referee.
