The Mash Shack and other unusual businesses for sale

The Mash Shack

Don't get mashed, kids, get mash!

If you have a real passion for the festival atmosphere, the music, the mud and mashed potatoes, then this is the business for you: ‘the Mash Shack’ is one of many quirky and unusual businesses featured on  BusinessesForSale.com’s unique businesses section.

The Mash Shack’ has fed thousands of hungry campers and festival goers in its lifetime, and has been present at some of the UK’s favourite festivals, including Bestival, T in the park, Greenbelt, and Electric Picnic.

‘The Mash shack exudes a sense of eccentricity – being an old ice cream van painted in purple and yellow and featuring a 15ft potato masher sculpture suspended above the stall. And if you thought that was weird enough, possibly the most bizarre aspect of this stall is that fancy dress is mandatory for staff members, who also are obliged to do ‘the mashed potato’ dance.

The Mash Shack promotes a greener lifestyle and produces what they like to call ‘good green grub’. This eco fare includes: fair-trade products, biodegradable and unbleached disposables, food sourced from local venues and farmers and no additives or preservatives.

For those of you not tempted to unleash your inner hippy and unexcited by mashed potato, a crocodile farm in Australia may take your fancy, a pirate ships business in the Cayman islands or perhaps a Tipi bed and breakfast?
