Listen to tip #2 on marketing your business

Jane Miller on changing how you think...

“Bad feelings are a kind of pain and pain is there for a reason. When you put your hand in the fire it’s hurts; the pain is saying ‘get your hand out of the fire and do something about it’. It’s the same with bad feelings; they’re telling you there’s something wrong and you need to do something about it.

“Looking at bad feelings in a positive light already turns things around. When asked ‘what is failure and what does it mean?’ most of my clients have eventually said that there’s no such thing as failure, the only failure is walking away and seeing it as a failure.

It’s not about what’s happening to us, it’s about what it means to us

“It’s not about what’s happening to us, it’s about what it means to us. If we can look at what the feelings mean, see how a person is interpreting them and help them interpret things in a constructive way, it’s amazing what can happen.”
