The discussion, which took place on 7 September, drew on the findings of a study investigating how UK businesses are using social media in 2012. Nine out of 10 businesses surveyed believe social media will help grow turnover, and yet only four in 10 actually use it. The other five don’t know how to, think it will be time-consuming or are scared of it. 

Groupon’s UK Director Richard Jones and digital business entrepreneur Peter Dixon, who by day runs a digital agency, but by night, provides the voiceover for The X Factor and numerous other TV shows, explore an increasingly important, but perplexing issue for small- to medium-sized businesses.
