The best tech-based feasibility study will be awarded up to £25,000

Up to £25,000 is being awarded to small and micro-businesses who conduct the best technology-based feasibility studies.

The Technology Strategy board (TSB) is organising the awards, which encompass digital systems and technology-inspired innovation. Feasibility studies need to last for three months or less.

The Feasibility Studies in Digital Services funding competition, which aims to help companies harness emerging growth opportunities, opens on 10 January and closes on 10 February. Successful applicants will be informed at the end of February.

A number of Knowledge Transfer Networks are supporting this competition by hosting an information day for prospective applicants on 13 January. This free event is designed to discuss content and generate ideas.

Any entrepreneurs interested in applying for one of the grants should attend the information day to considerably enhance their chances of submitting a successful application.

The event is hosted by the Digital Communications, Digital Systems and Electronics, Sensors and Photonics Knowledge transfer networks and will feature speakers from the TSB describing what they are looking for in applications. There will also be an opportunity to have one-to-one discussions with TSB representatives to discuss ideas.
