Women who want to raise finance to start or grow their business should be aware of a free seminar being held in West Berkshire this month.

The event, which is being held on the 19 September, will offer female entrepreneurs the chance to network with other women, access support organisations, get business mentoring and field questions to the panel of experts.

Speakers will include Kiki Mauray, who owns business consultancy KMC, Nini Sian from Slough Enterprise Gateway, Anne Minter from Finance South East, Caroline Salmon from Leap Consultancy and a representative of Natwest bank to talk about the and the government-run Small Firms Loan Guarantee Scheme.

Other topics covered in the seminar include grants, loans, venture capital and business angel investment.

The seminar is taking place in the Hilton Bewbury Centre in Newbury, West Berkshire and is starting at 9:30am and finishing at 3pm.

The event is organised by Business Link Berkshire in conjunction with Slough Enterprise Gateway and Finance South East, and is part financed by the European Union.
