Businesswomen to be recognised

The success of 200 of London’s most inspirational businesswomen is being recognised next week.

In the plush surroundings of the Grange City Hotel, female role models in business will be celebrated at the inaugural everywoman of Influence dinner on Tuesday 9 October.

The event is hosted by everywoman, an organisation which provides mentoring and networking opportunities to women, in association with Coutts & Co, one of the UK’s leading private banks.

Despite the progress made by women and the senior positions that they now hold across industry, business and government, only 10% of FTSE 100 company directors are women. Everywoman points to research* suggesting that better financial success is achieved by companies with women on their leadership teams, and thinks the world’s leading financial centre should be doing more to progress the careers of talented women.

Keynote speakers at the dinner will include Sarah Deaves, Chief Executive of Coutts & Co, and Baroness Amos, former Leader of the House of Lords and Chief Executive of the Equal Opportunities Commission (1989-1994).

Tables to the everywoman of Influence dinner cost £1,500. For further information contact everywoman on 0870 746 1800 or email max@everywoman.co.uk.
